I'll give you a green.*
At Muppet Theatre we designed a new lighting array which can light all the sets. The new array was required because
Veterinarian's Hospital have a flashy new set and glossy new uniforms. Yesterday morning everybody said it was a good thing and well done. Yesterday afternoon
Veterinarian's Hospital asked if the array could be set up with only their lights so they didn't have to know which ones to turn on and off. Also,
Veterinarian's Hospital weren't sure how they wanted their set lit so if we could figure it out and then remove all the unnecessary lights they would be happy. This would mean the array would be mostly useless for
At the Dance,
Muppet Labs,
Pigs in Space etc. which don't need it now but may in the future; so it is not going to happen. However if
Veterinarian's Hospital pretend it
is going to happen and don't design a lighting plan then it will look like the new lighting array
is not a good thing and
not well done at all. Oh! It doesn't help when Beauregard keeps saying "Yeah. It would be a cinch to remove all the unnecessary lights.".

Blighters Rock.I've been a bit crap lately, at everything. Fortunately nobody got hurt, unless they did and are putting on a brave face. But seeing as my telepathy has always been crap, how would I know? Belated birthday salutations to Dave and Fi and Jimbo and Polly and Andy. Nobody got their presents on the day, some didn't even get a telephone call. Such things are impossible to rectify, more's the pity.
I went to Townsville for a week on Magnetic Island with my siblings and their offspring in a preemptive celebration of Andy's fortieth birthday. The itinerary was rather malleable due to jet lag and infant sleep patterns. Nevertheless we had a bunch of idle fun at the beach, playing games and watching the FIFA World Cup (and Cartoon Network).
Delightful Emma-Jean has been visiting during her holidays. She is a sparkly angel who makes me wonder how come I get to be in the same room. However I realize it is not up to me who she chooses to share a room with. Then I get to count my blessings. Maths is fun. Too soon she has to return to Pirate Cove, but first we get to play a great big twelve hour
Dungeons & Dragons session on Saturday. Also, I get to be a player, which is nice.
My D&D games are progressing and the players still make nice sounds when a session wraps up, so it's not broken yet. I even killed a Dangerous Wayfarer, and not just anyone; it was the Captain. Meanwhile the
World's Largest Dungeon party continues on despite the appalling prose. I think it is more the players having fun than the game being fun, which is not a bad thing.
Next Week for Sure has folded, which is a bad thing, due to insufficient other teams to play with. Now I
really do no exercise and I am in no kind of mood to start something new. (Not grumpy; unmotivated.) Time to revisit: gym, isometrics, jogging, yoga... we'll see.
(And while I'm at it I should update my blog.)
