Missed again.My resolution to make better use of my time has had a second wind. I have defacebooked myself; hopefully blog posts will become more frequent, if not regular. I have reinstalled
World of Warcraft and soon I shall consolidate my
Dungeons & Dragons campaign. The dishes are done, dude. In March I shall take two weeks leave, hopefully this second wind will last.
Fozzie changed the locks. I have managed to get a copy of the keys. Other people who need keys keep borrowing mine. (Why don't they get their own keys? I had to.)
Not dead yet.The computer I use is having problems finding space in it's memory. After a while I uninstalled
World of Warcraft because the memory problem was preventing an update from installing and they recommended reinstalling the game anyway. This released significant amounts of memory and allowed other maintenance to be done. Soon I will reinstall
World of Warcraft and see if the housekeeping has improved the computer's performance.
A side effect of my technical endeavours is a loss of cyberspace presence.
Meanwhile my sister visited from London. I have played
Ars Magica,
Burning Wheel and run my own
Dungeons & Dragons game. I have watched
The Golden Compass and
Juno at the cinema;
Big Trouble in Little China,
High Fidelity and
A Scanner Darkly on DVD. I have been to restaurants, pubs and cafes. I have been to the theatre and a festival. I've had my car serviced. I went to work.
Muppet News Flash.Fozzie thinks because the foyer refurbishment has no costumes, lighting, music, rehearsals, scripts, sets or any other interaction with the rest of the show, then it also has no deadline - and nobody will notice if the autumn season commences a month late because the doors can't be opened.
