Plants.
The herb garden is going well, if you like thyme. The pennyroyal and selfheal may be starting to spread but the rosemary and oregano varieties are sickly at best. This is disappointing because in my last garden the oregano spread like wildfire (despite having to be dug out from under a pile of grass clippings each fortnight after the lawnmower guy did his thing). On the other hand all six varieties of thyme look vigorous and may begin covering ground soon, which is the point of the exercise after all. The Venus fly trap currently has two leaves about five millimetres long with dead traps, I does not appear to be thriving.
