All my friends are moving interstate.
Yeah, they're all going home.
We're all getting drunk on the weekend,
And changing the speed dial on our phone.
Ted came to visit. He had a meeting at ANU on Monday so he arrived in plenty of time on Friday night. Ted is smart and cool. To disguise this Linda, Simon, Ted and I went shopping on Saturday before attending Meagan's farewell inebriation (with many more people) and watching two Rugby Union World Cup 2003 quater finals on the big screen at a pub. (The pub claimed the epithet "Irish" but the level of pine fixtures and fittings was more reminiscent of a Norwegian pub with Guiness on tap.) Later that same weekend we recovered by watching hours of telly including two more Rugby Union World Cup 2003 quater finals,
Battle of the Planets and
Gatchaman (G-Force is a pale imitation of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, in case you were wondering),
Insiders,
7 Days,
Hulk,
Kenny Everett's Naughty Bits (and
More Kenny Everett's Naughty Bits),
Young Ones, and
Get Backers.
