Gamin' Around.

Ars Magica advanced in leaps and bounds as more covenfolk returned to the castle. Anatole was welcomed into the covenant, which was nice. I am still overwhelmed by how much less I know the rules than the other players but everybody is fantastically tolerant and helpful, and good at it too. Also, I can update the wiki now.

Spirit of the Century proceeded despite a late start and Dave being so ill he came home from work before lunch. The characters are separated so progress was at quarter speed. The session finished when Dave excused himself to vomit. Get well soon, Dave.

Not good enough, elbows.

I failed to donate blood plasma again. The first venipuncture almost didn't bleed. The second managed to fill the tubes and wet the bag but the first apheresis contused, so that was the end of that. I have one more plasmapheresis appointment and if nothing improves I shall stop for a year.

I saw A Scanner Darkly, it was okay. I enjoyed it myself and many other people were there enjoying it, but I think we were generally enjoying different things about it. I thought the Rotoscope was good, but I don't believe it was all done by hand. Perhaps it wasn't and I am misinformed; perhaps some artificiality was deliberately introduced.
