I told you that.
The billboard poster says December 08. It means the eighth of December but some people might reasonably think it means December next year. To resolve the issue Fozzie suggested we prepare new artwork. Then we hire the Zucchini Brothers to shoot Animal into the printing press. Under cover of the fracas, Gonzo can sneak into the press and exchange the artwork. When Fozzie said “we” he meant “you” (meaning “me”).
I suggested we get some stickers made which say 08 December and stick them over the date when the posters are mounted. Fozzie was unresponsive. While I was preparing the new artwork Scooter announced all non-performance hiring had to be approved by J.P. Gross. I asked Fozzie how to get J.P’s approval. Fozzie was unresponsive so I asked Scooter. Scooter said Kermit handled it. I sent the Zucchini Brothers’ contract to Kermit for J.P. Gross’s approval.
Kermit summoned Fozzie to ask:
1. why are we planning to assault a service provider with an employee;
2. what makes him think Gonzo is a ninja;
3. what is wrong with knocking on the door and saying "we have to change the artwork, please"; and
4. aren’t we just getting some stickers made to resolve the ambiguity?
Fozzie turned to me, repeated the interrogation, and asked:
5. why I had sent the contract to Kermit?
I said, "Because you, you, you, you and Scooter told me to."
He replied, and I quote*, "Oh no! You know, I remember, the thing, whatever."
Then he said he would smooth things over and make it all good with Kermit because “we” had arranged to print stickers all along. I suspect I am supposed to be getting some stickers made, but Fozzie is unresponsive.
